I approached Melissa in 2017 to help me sell my condo as well as buy a new house. The result was fantastic! She was able to work with my schedule to arrange showings so I never felt displaced. When it came time to accept offers the process was done very professionally and I received a number of offers and we were able to make a well informed decision in addition to getting a good price! If you are in the market for a real estate agent, look no further.... My mother passed away in December, and when we were finally ready to sell my Mom’s condo, we interviewed several real estate agents. Melissa was the final interview. We could have saved a lot of time if we had interviewed Melissa first, however, we believed it was a “save the best for last” scenario. Melissa presented a comprehensive proposal outlining her strategy for marketing and selling the property, with an informative checklist. Melissa’s suggested listing price, was at least 25% higher than any of the other agent’s suggested listing price. When I told Melissa, her price was considerably higher than the others, she spoke with conviction and confidence when telling us why she had come to that conclusion. She checked out other condos in the area, the “comparables”, but rather than comparing apples to oranges, she explained that my Mom’s condo was in a highly sought after complex, built over 15 years ago with better finishes than you will find in the newer comparables, better layouts and nicer amenities, and was also the only condo available in this complex. She knew her market, she saw the “differences” to the comparables, (something none of the other realtors saw) and she was confident that the listing price was achievable. And she was right! We got an offer for the asking price, the day it listed. We could have waited until the “bidding war” night- it was our decision to accept the offer. Our goal was to sell it, and close this chapter of our lives... at the best price. And that is EXACTLY what we got with Melissa’s excellent guidance. Melissa constantly went the extra mile to ensure that everything was perfect- the painting, the staging, asking for and always considering our input. She kept us in the loop at all times, was always available for consultation and questions, and as an extra bonus, she is extremely pleasant, personable and a dedicated professional.
